Lowland Single Malts
The Lowland whisky region covers everywhere from the Borders up to Glasgow and across to the Kingdom of Fife in the east. The Lowlands actually produces the largest volume of whisky from all the regions but the majority of this liquid goes into blended whisky. However, there are several distilleries across the Lowland region producing single malts which are known for a light, grassy and floral flavour profile.
